~yinadya, revolving mondays, and retreat into u

Couple few love notes from moi ~

Hi my friends. Fall is upon us.The aspens are turning, whispered messages delivered by wind of slowing down and cuddling are sent and received, and I am ambitiously heeding those instructions with a mile high smile sigh. Quite literally.Caffeine in bed, yin yoga, community silent mornings (come join us) and twisting trails through the turning leaves might be some of the sweetest things on earth. I am relishing my return to the 4 seasoned way of chronicling time and ritualizing existence. Autumn in particular, with its note of sweet solace that sails in on crisp morning air helps me return to something I did not realize I'd missed.
Below are some of the ways you can maximize your season of introspection, nourishment, return to your own mystery bits, and deep enjoyment of gravity itself.

Yinadya- Tomorrow!! ~
Wednesday, Oct 2- Yin yoga and Adyashanti, or one or both6pm/7pm- Eldorado Springs Art Center
When I was a kid, one of my most favorite things was to grab a pillow, lay on the ground and cuddle into the stories on the radio and their accompanied visions and woven tapestries within my mind. Hearing a thing, and letting the external visual take back seat, opened the other senses even more and allowed the creative mind to fire away and connections to be made on a level that was not so linear/ black and white of a colored world, but rather that touched imagination, multirealmdimensionality of psyche, and spaces not otherwise accessed. To this day my weekends often revolve around my favorite radio shows and what they create inside of me. When I saw that Adyashanti's livestream was happening again this Wednesday, I thought it might be simply wonderful to take these teachings in, in similar fashion, and seeing as it happens right after my yin yoga class, we could parlay one nourishing influx of prana into the body with a nourishing stream of teaching into the soul.Yinadya is not a lost Sanskrit expression, but rather a mash-up of 2 very wonderful things. Adyashanti is a soul I have gleaned much from over the years and yin yoga... well probably one of the only reasons I am alive and sane (I know- both debatable in this crazy dreamstate life thing.. All the same...).
Bring a pillow, warm socks, and any other items fer gettin cozy.

Revolving Mondays ~
October Mondays- 6pm at Eldorado Springs Art Center
This month we are starting our Revolving Mondays with a new teacher each month. My dear colleague, friend, and sister Aleah Sommers will be sharing in the practice with you all on Monday nights starting October 7th, (with the exception of Oct 21st). If you all don't know Aleah or didn't make it out for any of Homegrown Yoga Boulder events, she is a beautiful teacher and conductor of consciousness exploration. And this incredible woman, who holds a Phd and works as scientist up at NCAR for her dayjob doesn't otherwise teach right now, so this is a great opportunity to soak it up!

Artful Yoga Thursday mornings ~

We are also adding an Artful Yoga practice Thursday mornings at 9.30am which will be a creative vinyasa flow. See website for description.
