~flutterbies
I see… butterflies
.. it’s all a matter of perspective I reckon :)
This week in class we had some fun with the echoes that exist in our innermost regions. For anatomists and lepidopterologists alike, there are so many fun facts and resemblances around these beautiful creatures of flight and the very scaffolding of which we are made.
..Couldn’t help but share a little of my enthusiasm. I will try to get one of the classes up on the YouTube channel, so if you aren’t subscribed and wanna delve into such things, you can subscribe here and it should be up within the week.
Sculpture Garden Yoga
If you want a pandemic friendly activity for your Labor Day weekend, come on out to the Art Center for some sculpture garden yoga and sharing of your favorites passages whether they be in the form of poetry, prose, or song. And it you wanna make a day of it, come join me in the creek before hand- it’s gonna be hot as all get out, and that creek water is darn near the most refreshing thing a body can do for itself. Seriously though. And especially before we get the 7 inches of snow on Tues (?!*).
Join us in the garden live or zoomed as you like.
(1st and 3rd Sunday’s of the month)
Storyhour at 5pm MDT tonight
Yoga at 6.15pm
If attending live for one or both, email missjuliahorn@gmail.com to reserve your spot.
Monday morning class also still running as scheduled. Check calendar on website if ever there is a question~
Your Gift
I have so enjoyed hearing your responses to the audio reel. If you haven’t had a chance to listen, squirrel away 9 minutes with yourself for a dreamy meditation/slumber into unknown lands/bones/bits of you, and enjoy. Some of you wanted a resend so here she blows..
Click below for a winding parable about the nature of growth, connection to self, time, and the kingdom of the natural world.
And if you're curious about what to plant on your patio or in the backyard to support our fluttering friends, check out this incredible website!
