: : : Woman is most definitely not an island…

… But it sure can be of benefit to spend some time on one (thanks for the drumroll John Donne).

I am just back from the wilds of the woods on San Juan Island, and good lord I don’t even know how to express the beauty of this world sometimes.

For all the reasons, I am acutely aware of how short our time is together on this planet my friends, how bittersweet the impermanence of it all when we have a heart that loves so much.. and yet the parallel track of unending wisdom and timelessness, just there singing over my shoulder….. what a world.

Well, here is the thing, while I am here, I want to commit so fully to this body. I want to delve into the miasma of my psychology and the tinkering of my mind (after all, I will have all of afterlife to bask in timelessness- in that multi-dimensional-god-knows-what kinda way). Not to mention, that a direct route to timelessness, in my experience, has been a detour away from the heart of the matter- literally, physically, metaphorically and in all of the ways.

And oddly enough, that in and through-ness, has been its own inroad to that which is unbound, but in a way that is so all encompassing, so comprehensive and so earth-shatteringly full, that all of heaven and earth seem to hum at her arrival. It is not always comfortable. But boy is it all of the things. And so long as I have a body, by golly if I don’t want all the things!

Learning to drop rather than reach is a tough but golden hour.

Endarkenment, or living into and through, has a different flavor than transcendence. I chose the latter for years. The latter left parts of me (and others) out of the equation. It was sweet and ecstatic and high, but it was only part of the picture.

But this is my route. And lord knows, it is not for everyone, nor do I necessarily promote it. I will say however, that if you are one that wants to dig deep and own and absorb, witness and combine, if you are an alchemist at heart and interested in big picture- wants to heal intergenerational open wounds, find a firm foot on mama earth that is tender and listening, that owns all parts of our selves and can better hear the cries of our brothers and sisters across the planet.. If you want to stand in your power and feel, like really feel, and then let that personal practice of witnessing self, inform the spaces where you have the opportunity to be of service, and where the divisions within can slowly slowly, one slight tick at a time, dial us internally and externally back toward spaces of celebrated difference and harmony, then let’s go!

WOMEN”S COACHING AND LIFE DESIGN:

I have been so enjoying time with some of y’all in the capacity of witness, soul friend, side-kick, investigator of we-ness, laboratory partner, and 100 percent believer-in. It is astounding what is birthed of these spaces. Again.. hats off….

I have arranged my schedule so that I have a bit more time for these sessions because they have been such soul-food and felt like such needed work.

Package of 3- $435 (save $15)

If there is something you’d like to jumpstart or birth into your world, a shadow you’d like to shine some light on, or belief systems that might need some reframing, stuckness that needs transmuting, it can be really helpful to have a comrade and confidant. Together we can accomplish so much more than our hearts knew was possible.

Sign up on my website or email me to set up your session.
As always if there is financial hardship but the desire is big, give a ring and let’s have a conversation about what works (reply to arrange).

From my time on the islands- notmuch more a gal needs than a tent, a bike, a barrow, and a patch ‘o ground.

Ain’t no two ways about it…. insular and island-like practices can deeply enhance our connectivity. Especially if we can do both at the same time!
Both/and baby. If it isn’t just always, always the ‘both’ and the ‘and’…

Cheers my dears. Hope to see you on the mat~
