Image of Château de Courtanvaux, one of the little-known gems we'll visit during the week.
Dear beloved friends and community,
If ever there were a time to steal away and enjoy some of life’s more glorious iterations, that time might be now and that spot might just be the french countryside.
No ‘might’ about it, we’re headed thataway and I’d looovvve to extend an invitation to you and yours…
Please join me for springtime at a charming chateau in the magical cave village of Trôo, named one of France's favorite villages in 2020 (linked to video spoken in French but with stunning images aplenty).
~ May 28- June 4 ~
Together we will:
Stay in a beautiful 17th century chateau replete with swimming pool, sauna, steam bath and space for relaxing on the magnificent grounds (more pics below).
Enjoy farm-to-table home cooked regional fare --
all breakfasts, lunches & dinners provided. Meals are prepared with locally grown and produced ingredients that will be featured at meal time in order to highlight the specialties of the region. Also included are a welcome wine & cheese soirée (vegan and alcohol-free options available), a farm-to-table communal meal at a permaculture farm, and a farewell haute cuisine dinner at a renowned restaurant.
Engage daily morning and evening yoga as well as meditation sessions to deepen your practice and take it to the next level.
Adventure out on activities with visits to local cave houses and van excursions to nearby castles, churches, and magnificent gardens, balanced by ample free time to explore the winding foot paths and stairways that make Trôo so unique... or simply relax at the chateau and relish the moment with a swim, a sauna or a jacuzzi bath within a 15th century tower!

Let’s get a little high on the hill, high on the hog, and high on the long lived life- and take whatever measures we need to, to ensure its thriving unfolding.
“La vie est une fleur dont l’amour est le miel.”
Victor Hugo
~Life is a flower of which love is the honey.
Come enjoy the sweeter parts of life and the nectar available when we retreat into our own practice and into a broader sense of the beautiful.
See you at the chateau~
Also just around the bend…
Poetry Reading in Your Backyard
.. well, if you happen to be in the Boulder vicinity that is…
I’m super exited to circle up with the extraordinary band of folks that hunker down to write on a weekly basis with the honorable Ms Katharine Kauffman.
We are going to bundle up and share words, glorious words, in the ever-inspiring sculpture garden at Eldorado Springs Art Center.
Come join us for a cuppa hot cacao as we share our worlds of words on a chilly fall afternoon.
And the library is there for you in the event that you should need a quick pick-me-up, fine-tuning, or bodybrain-adjustment :) Check it out…..
In this very transitional season of the planet and of life, I hope you can find whatever way it is that gives you both a sense of retreat, even in and amongst the mundane, as well as a little high-hog livin’- no matter how small the gesture.
In love and appreciation,
Julia
