Good morning my friends,

There is so much to say and to feel in this moment, I don’t know quite where to start. While I have enjoyed the long walks and time with my books and ukulele, I am feeling a lot of heartache about the loneliness and lack of resources felt by so many of us.

It is an interesting dichotomy- in this time that asks of us the parameters of social distancing, we are also, more than ever, aware of our interconnection and interdependence. Interdependence on each other, on a society and its guardrails of safety, but also on our relationship with nature, and most especially on that place within ourselves, often overlooked and unnamed that knows what is true.

In an attempt to find some form of connection and togetherness with each other and with the exploration of what it is to have a breathing body through this thing called yoga, i’d like to invite y’all into my living room for some yoga, meditation, and exploration.

A few logistics for the coming month:

Eldorado Art Center offerings will be on hold until further notice. Yoga Loft classes also on hold until further notice.

Living Room Yoga!

Monday & Wednesday- 9.30am- Creative Vinyasa Flow

Tuesday & Thursday- 6pm- Restorative/ Yin Mash-up

Tuesday & Thursday - 12pm- Midday Medi - (20 minute guided meditation)

Sunday- 5pm- Story Hour- starting tonight!! - (short meditation followed by sharing a poem, song, or short story- don your PJs, grab a cup ‘o tea and feel free to come to listen, or come with something to share with each other that’s infectious- not through viral replication but infectious in heart :) ! )

While nothing beats the real time real life iris-to-iris-with-nothing-in-between exchange, I am excited to maintain a practice with those of you that come regularly, and gotta say, thinking about the possibility of practicing with many of you from other cities and towns i’ve had the honor of being with along the way brings a smile I can feel through and though.
